Association Reserves

ROBERT NORDLUND, PE, RS founded Association Reserves in 1986. As an early leader in the field, he pioneered many now-common Reserve Study concepts. He currently leads a team of regional offices supporting a national and international client base, promoting an “improved future” for Association Reserves clients based on fiscal responsibility, minimized special assessments, and maximized property values. Nordlund is an active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) on a local and national level, frequently speaking at CAI National Conferences and as a regular author appearing in its Common Ground magazine. Nordlund is a two-time recipient of CAI’s “Excellence in Designations” for his work drafting and updating National Reserve Study Standards, and is a member of its “Think Tank” identifying rising trends and shaping the future of the community association industry. As an authority in the industry, Nordlund is a valued expert witness in litigation involving Reserves from Hawaii to the East Coast.
